What's new with Captain? He's checking in on nugget 2 more and more. Today, he learned for the first time what the high chair is all about... and something tells me he's gonna be sitting by it an awful lot ;-)
We haven't been doing much solid food yet, but today we tried out butternut squash for the first time. Nugget 2 didn't seem to like it much. But you know what they say... One man's trash is another man's treasure. It's a whole new world for Captain.
And I have to just reiterate- Captain has been so good with the baby. It's really incredible. As I've mentioned, he was very reticent in the beginning- and still is a bit- very patient and cautious. He still treats her with reserve and care, looking more to me for what to do around her. She is VERY interested in Captain, and is still learning how to pet nicely....luckily Captain is patient!
We've also been all running more together. More on that to come, I hope to do a new gear post, updated with stuff for the active FAMILY dog!
